Biography

The Voice of 2wo Third3

Lee was the frontman of 2wo Third3, the electro-pop group launched in 1994 under manager Tom Watkins, whose work also included East 17 and Bros.

Signed to Epic Records, part of Sony Music UK, the group became known for its striking image and memorable pop records, with Lee’s trademark facial plaster becoming part of its distinctive look.

The group released four UK chart singles, including “I Want the World”, which reached No. 20, and “I Want To Be Alone”, which reached No. 29.

Lee appeared with the group on Top of the Pops, The Word, This Morning, Live and Kicking and the Smash Hits Poll Winners Party. He also supported East 17 on their Around the World tour.

Back on Stage After 32 Years

In August 2026, Lee returned to live performance at the RCT 90s Summer Party, his first stage appearance in 32 years.

The event saw him reunite with Terry from East 17, on a bill that also featured Whigfield, Heather Small and Kenny Thomas.

Beyond 2wo Third3

Lee also writes and produces under the name Maximus Tronic, exploring electronic and club music alongside his pop career. His work as Maximus Tronic has included viral tracks on TikTok and a No. 1 on the Music Week Upfront Club Chart.
