Introduction
Book Michelle Platnum
Michelle McKenna, performing as Michelle Platnum, is a Manchester-based singer and dance artist best known as the unmistakable female voice from Platnum.
Michelle rose to national prominence through Platnum’s collaboration with H “Two” O, “What’s It Gonna Be”, which reached No.2 on the UK Singles Chart and became one of the defining UK garage and dance crossover records of the late 2000s.
Platnum followed the success with “Love Shy (Thinking About You)”, which also reached the UK Top 10.
Michelle has since developed her career as a solo artist while continuing to carry the music and recognition associated with Platnum.
Her combination of UK garage, dance and Clubland nostalgia makes Michelle a strong booking for festivals, clubs, nostalgia events, student events, corporate events and private events.
