Born Mark Quashie in Trinidad and Tobago, The Mad Stuntman shot to international fame as the dynamic frontman of Reel 2 Real, combining infectious Caribbean rhythms, dancehall energy and house music to create a sound that took dancefloors around the world by storm.
His unmistakable vocals on I Like to Move It, produced by Erick Morillo, helped turn the track into a global phenomenon. Originally released in 1993, the song became a defining anthem of 90s dance music and remains instantly recognisable more than three decades later.
Its popularity reached another generation when it featured in the animated blockbuster Madagascar, introducing that legendary chorus to millions of new fans.
